Sometimes you think its not safe. Sometimes you think its not smart. Sometimes you have to leap before you know. My first stop California has been amazing. San Diego is like living on the beach in the 90’s Dr.Dre style. Not to mention Dana Point, a beautiful town in Southern California on the Pacific Coast Highway or as they say the PCH or 101. I’ll post pics up soon but I got fly to the airport to catch my flight to Fiji.
Newport Beach Lookout Point - CaliforniaJust got here a few hours and we are getting ready to go have some sushi. So far, I’m completely in love with this place. Growing up in Miami, I’m not use to seeing so many cliffs and hills by the ocean and all I can say is WOW!
The people I worked with were awesome. After working there 3 years they had a farewell lunch for me as well as a cake party in the conference room. I had a wonderful 3 years there and a great experience, both professional and personal.
Some good friends invited me to the Sony Ericsson Open.This is one week before I leave on my journey. I have never been to a tennis match but I appreciate it. I’ve gotten into before but never dedicated enough time to it. I know it requires a lot of stamina and quick sprints which is a great exercise. To see a few of the greatest players on the planet play before my eyes was a great privilege. I was able to see Sharapova beat Petkovic. I think I fell in love with Sharapova. We were also able to see Federer beat Simon, Simon quit after the first set because of a stiff neck. That sucked! Whatever at least we saw them play a little.
